There is an old saying that "Time flies...". It surely does, especially when you're talking about how fast life goes by once you reach a certain age. It's not actually true, we just perceive it as such. But in the long term plan of the American Left, it can't fly fast enough. With each new generation, they have ever more firmly entrenched their ill-thought philosophies.
Following bread crumbs is not always easy. Am I making certain assumptions? Yes, I am. Am I, perhaps, painting with a broader brush than usual? Of course. If I were to include every last detail, chapter and verse, to support my point in this article, it would end up being the size of "War and Peace" instead of a web article. Brevity and succinctness doesn't change the aim of the piece, nor does it invalidate the veracity of the theme. Our children and grandchildren are suffering at the hands of people who put their political agenda first, and kids LAST.
There are 2 ways to take over a country. One is through armed conflict and it's fast. The other is much slower, more methodical, and precisely what we have witnessed in America in the last century. It didn't start with the children, but the fact that it's now front and center with kids is even more damning.
It's harder today to be a kid than when I was young. How about you? But why is that? You would think that it would be easier to be a kid with every new generation if, for no other reason, than more and more knowledge is available to them making the mysteries of life less of a dilemma to solve and deal with. The real problem for kids today is uncertainty and fear. Let's see if we can get a grip on where all of that anxiety comes from.
There's an old saying that goes "Those who don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it" (paraphrase). On the subject of RACE, that is most assuredly us. Every time we start to go down the right path, we get bumped off it and back into negative, self-destructive behavior by people who have a vested interest in seeing us perpetually divided.
Judging by the emails I'm getting, my prediction in the previous piece of this article was spot on. I pissed more than a few of you off. I'm cool with that. The subject matter is much too important to the future of our nation to risk nothing with half-stepping and measured language. The problem is truth, not racism.
I'm gonna preface this next piece of the article by saying that this one, more than the previous 3, is going to either cause you to think, or just piss you off. Why? The previous 3 talked in more generalities, while this one will be more specific. It's going past the definitions of the principles I describe and more into practice.
If you've made it this far in this article, I'm glad. It means that I'm either pissing you off beyond belief, you are interested in what I have to say, or absolutely NOTHING is on Netflix worth watching today. In any case, please read on. Race is one of the most pressing issues in this nation today and is a bellwether to a much larger movement that is dominating our culture now and has been for more than 50 years.
The charge of racism is bandied about so often, in my view, that is has diminished in value to nothing but a pejorative. It is wielded like a sword against anyone who disagrees with another person's position, isn't following the enforced rules of how and why a person is SUPPOSED to think or act, or simply just to label someone with whom you don't like. In other words, it's used for everything but to describe what it actually is. So let's take this time in this piece of the article to define and describe RACISM and delineate it from the other 2 words in our trifecta, PREJUDICE and BIGOTRY
In the previous iteration of this website, I wrote a piece about race in America with the same name as this one. Now, I should insert here that the previous website had over 100 articles that I wrote on a variety of subjects, but none of them garnered the same degree of vitriol and angst as that one. The truly funny part to me, after reading and replying to countless emails calling me a racist, a bigot, and Klan member, etc, was that it became more and more obvious that the people firing off all this hate toward me had not actually READ the entire article.
